This policy explains what personal data Ptolemi collects, why we collect it and the rights you have over it. We handle your data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation and Irish data-protection law.

1. Who we are

Ptolemi is an Irish property intelligence platform operated from Dublin, Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@ptolemi.ie.

2. Data we collect

We collect the email address you sign up with, the addresses you choose to watch, your subscription status, and basic usage data needed to run the service. Payment is handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details.

3. How we use it

We use your data to provide the service: to show your saved addresses, send the alerts you ask for, manage your subscription and reply to your messages. We do not sell your data, ever.

4. Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent for optional emails, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the service.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.

6. Retention

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except where we must retain limited records for legal or accounting reasons.
