These terms govern your use of Ptolemi. By using the service you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Ptolemi aggregates public planning data for the Republic of Ireland and presents it in plain English. It is a research and information tool, not legal or planning advice.

2. Accuracy

We work hard to keep records accurate and current, but planning data originates from third-party local authorities and may contain errors or delays. For anything formal, always confirm against the council's own record, which we link to.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You must give accurate information and use the service lawfully.

4. Premium subscription

Premium costs €19.99 a year, billed once and annually. It renews unless you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account settings, and access continues until the end of the paid year.

5. Acceptable use

You may not scrape, resell or redistribute Ptolemi data in bulk, or use the service to harass any person. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

6. Liability

Ptolemi is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of the information shown. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
